RTX 5080 16 GB China spot price rises 2000 yuan on GDDR7 squeeze
GDDR7 supply pressure is pushing the RTX 5080 16 GB China spot price to 14,500-15,000 yuan, up from 12,700-13,500 yuan.

| RTX5080 16G | RTX5080 24G | |
|---|---|---|
| memory | 16G | 24G |
| previous spot price | 12700-13500 yuan | |
| current spot price | 14500-15000 yuan | |
| increase | 2000 yuan | |
| estimated price | 19999 yuan |
ChannelGate calls the jump about 2,000 yuan. It ties the move to upstream memory pressure, not a new die or higher clock.
The filing reads the cause as memory allocation. GDDR7 capacity is being pulled toward HBM, so consumer cards lose available memory and material cost rises.
A 16 GB 5080 is also being treated as end-of-line stock before a 24 GB replacement. The filing floats that replacement near 19,999 yuan.
The same die and memory size now carry a higher channel cost. The document does not measure a new silicon part.
What remains unmeasured is the 24 GB 5080 and the US/EU retail path.
This is a memory-allocation event, not an architecture event.
After @harukaze5719. We did not report this. The pictures, if any, are theirs.
