PlayStation 6 price rumor moves above $1000
A NeoGAF post from KeplerL2 puts PlayStation 6 RAM and SSD costs above $680 and expects the console price to pass $1000. Sony's press-release page does not list a PlayStation 6 price, launch date, or component total.

The official page still frames PlayStation around the 1994 Japan launch and current PlayStation 5 releases. It gives no RAM figure, SSD figure, or bill-of-materials total for the next console.
The leaker's cost line sits outside that official record. If memory and storage really take that much of the build, Sony has to absorb margin, trim other parts, or raise the price.
The final SKU, power draw, process node, memory type, and launch price remain unmeasured. No official document attaches a BOM to the $680 line or the $1000 expectation.
The cost line is the only number driving the price shift.
