Partner memory claim moves past Intel's official 480GB ceiling
Intel's official partner ceiling is 480GB, and a leaker puts partner boards at 512GB.

| Intel GPU D-series | Partner cards | |
|---|---|---|
| Memory | 160GB LPDDR5X | 480GB official; 512GB claimed |
| Cores | 32 Xe3P cores | 32 Xe3P cores |
| XMX engines | 256 XMX engines | 256 XMX engines |
| FP8 compute | 1.3 PFLOPS | 1.3 PFLOPS |
| Memory bandwidth | 1.5 TB/s | 1.5 TB/s |
| Power | 350W | 350W |
| Sampling | underway | underway |
The gap is packaging, not compute.
The D-series lists 32 Xe3P cores, 256 XMX engines, 1.3 PFLOPS of FP8, 1.5 TB/s of bandwidth, and a 350W envelope.
Intel has not explained how a higher layout would work, and its official partner ceiling remains 480GB.
The earlier PCB leaks pointed to 20 LPDDR5X positions, supporting 160GB with 8GB packages or 480GB with 24GB packages.

A 512GB board would need a different package layout or a mix of densities.
No page measured a 512GB board, its price, its thermal behavior, or the partner manufacturers.
Sampling is underway, while pricing and general availability remain unconfirmed.
The open question is the package layout, not the compute ceiling.
