Intel Crescent Island D-Series lists 1.3 PFLOPS FP8 and 1.5 TB/s bandwidth

The Die Brief Desk, after Tom's Hardware

Intel's Crescent Island D-Series is listed with 1.3 peak PFLOPS of FP8 compute and 1.5 TB/s of memory bandwidth, but the page leaves power, price, and launch timing unmeasured.

Intel's Crescent Island D-Series carries a 1.3 peak PFLOPS FP8 figure and a 1.5 TB/s memory-bandwidth figure. Those two numbers fail to prove a usable system, a price, a power budget, or a date when a buyer can place an order.

Die Brief reads the pair as a compute-to-bandwidth ratio, not a product sheet. It tells a fab or integrator that the design targets FP8 throughput with a wide memory path, but it leaves the buyer constrained by missing thermal, packaging, and commercial data. The ratio is useful for sizing, but it leaves open whether the D-Series ships as a board, a module, or a rack unit.

The Tom's Hardware page omits process node, TDP, SKU, memory capacity, price, and release date. Without those, the 1.3 PFLOPS and 1.5 TB/s remain peak claims, not a measured system for now in the page.

The document leaves process node, TDP, SKU, memory capacity, price, and release date unmeasured.

The document gives a peak FP8 compute figure and a memory-bandwidth figure, so the useful inference is a ratio, not a validated system. It does not establish TDP, SKU, memory capacity, price, or release timing.

After Tom's Hardware. We did not report this. The pictures, if any, are theirs. Also filed by igorslab.de.
