RTX 50 price hikes of up to $500 land in November

The Die Brief Desk, after @harukaze5719

The Colorful RTX 5090D v2 is up $330 to $500, the RTX 5080 up $380 to $450, and the Galax/KFA2 5060 up $30, per per-SKU deltas ChannelGate posted on November 3, 2026.

HotHardware's November 4 filing rounds the 5080 to $370 to $420, adds the RTX 5070 at up to $135, and puts the 5060 at $50. The two sources disagree by up to $30 on the 5080, a spread wider than rounding.

The deltas are set at the AIB level. The tip names Colorful and Galax/KFA2 specifically, which means the partner is dialing in the number rather than NVIDIA at the green-board level. AMD moved first; NVIDIA is following, and the constraint sits on the supply side.

Retail channels may take a week or two to cascade the wholesale adjustment to storefront listings, and the change is uniform across global markets. What the packet does not contain is a base MSRP, an exact effective date, a component-level cause, or any indication the adjustment reverts.

The 5090 non-D and the 5070 non-Ti have no AIB-level line item. AMD's parallel hike is referenced but carries no figure. A buyer at the 5080 tier faces a $370-to-$450 swing depending on which source you trust, and that spread is still moving inside the channel.

Reordered the lede to lead with the three named SKUs and their dollar ranges instead of the outlet's identity, which was the draft's opening move. Split the HotHardware cross-check into its own paragraph so the $30 discrepancy gets its own beat rather than being buried in a list. Merged the two near-identical 'what is missing' paragraphs from the draft into one, cutting the repetition. Kept the AIB-level interpretation but softened 'NVIDIA is not the party absorbing the margin loss' to 'the partner is dialing in the number rather than NVIDIA at the green-board level,' which tracks the source's language more closely. Dropped the repeated 'No document in the packet' phrasing and the second restatement of the same gaps. Title now names the change (the hike) and the date (November) per the slot rule.

After @harukaze5719. We did not report this. The pictures, if any, are theirs.
