RX 10950 XTX rumor: 3.1 to 3.4 GHz on RDNA 5
A Gamer Meld short calls a Radeon RX 10950 XTX the biggest upgrade in Radeon history. The post under that name says AMD is targeting 3.1 to 3.4 GHz with RDNA 5. AMD has not announced the card.

The short is https://www.youtube.com/shorts/bmndysgQDI8, from Gamer Meld Bytes. The same title is the channel's video from 5 September 2026. In that video the product name is not settled. The line is a Radeon RX 10950 XTX, or a 10900 XTX, or whatever they end up calling it.
The clock is a forum reply, and the reply does not name a card. Wccftech published the screenshot on 3 September 2026. Kepler_L2 is answering a comment that APU graphics would not reach 4 GHz. His sentence is: "From some internal stuff I have seen, AMD is targeting 3.1-3.4 GHz with RDNA5." The video calls that internal documents and puts the range on the 10950 XTX. The post says RDNA 5. It does not say which chip, which board, or which product name.
AMD's page for the Radeon RX 9070 XT lists a boost of up to 2970 MHz and a game clock of 2400 MHz. Set 3.1 GHz against that boost and the gap is about 4.4 percent. Set 3.4 GHz against it and the gap is about 14.5 percent. Wccftech printed that comparison on 3 September. The video says "up to 14 percent faster than the 9070 XT." The percentage is the clock. No game was measured. The bottom of the range sits close to the boost AMD already prints on the card it sells.
Taken as a pile, this is the rumor of a high-end Radeon again. A clock a few percent to about 15 percent above the 9070 XT's published boost, and a chip the short puts at 154 compute units against today's 64. That is the whole of the "biggest upgrade" line.
The 154 is a different claim, and the video introduces it that way. It says one claim of 154 compute units, then calls that 2.4 times the cores of AMD's current best. Divide 154 by the 9070 XT's 64 compute units and the result is 2.4. That is a count of compute units. The 9070 XT has 4,096 stream processors. The video does not give a stream-processor count for the new name, and this piece does not make one up. Wccftech's 27 August 2025 account of Kepler's block diagrams puts the largest die at 96 compute units, then 40, 24, and 12. A full chip cannot be both 96 and 154. The short places both numbers on one card.
The video then says Kepler has confirmed that AT0, which it calls that 154-unit part, reaches buyers unless it is cancelled, and it treats the release as certain. OC3D wrote up the forum exchange on 26 February 2026. Kepler's point there is that AMD would still sell AT0 if the chip is not cancelled, including a small run. Other people in the thread talked about a price around $2,000. That number is not his, and it is not in the table.
The date is a later post, already filed here as brief 306. PC Games Hardware, on 12 October 2026, quoted Kepler saying only the AT2 chip is a 2027 card, and that AT2 is the second-largest RDNA 5 die. The other chips are not 2027 cards in that account. The flagship in the short would be one of those other chips. The same October note says 4 GB GDDR7 modules are not the plan for the next consumer cards. It does not say how much memory a 10950 XTX has, or what the board would draw.
The card AMD lists is the Radeon RX 9070 XT. The product page gives it 64 compute units, 4,096 stream processors, 16 GB of GDDR6 on a 256-bit bus, 64 MB of Infinity Cache, and a typical board power of 304 W. No 10950 XTX is on that page.
The short is a real leak, and the card is not a product. Kepler's September sentence is a 3.1 to 3.4 GHz target for RDNA 5. The 10950 XTX name, the 154 compute units, and the 14 percent are the channel's stack on top of it.
