CXMT DRAM wafer capacity forecast climbs to 420,000 per month
The step to 420,000 DRAM wafers per month is a consumer DRAM move, not an HBM answer.

| CXMT DRAM | |
|---|---|
| current monthly wafer capacity | 320,000 |
| 2027 monthly wafer capacity | 420,000 |
| 2028 monthly wafer capacity | 500,000 to 600,000 |
| monthly addition | 100,000 |
| 2027 growth | 31% |
| 2028 growth | 87.5% |
Counterpoint Research and TrendForce put the current line at 320,000 wafers per month. The next step adds more than 100,000 wafers to that line.
The firms see a 2028 range of 500,000 to 600,000 wafers. That would make CXMT a second source for general-purpose DRAM.

If the Beijing line lands, CXMT can quote into the shortage without moving into stacked memory. The forecast does not show a fab schedule, equipment order, or price.
The 31% and 87.5% growth figures are forecasts, not measured wafer starts. The document leaves out the plant name, government support terms, Apple volume, process node, and HBM capacity.
The forecast is a capacity step, not proof of output, yield, or the timing of the Beijing plant.
After @pequityresearch. We did not report this. The pictures, if any, are theirs.
