TSMC A14 mass production target shifts to first half 2028
AI demand is tightening leading-edge wafer supply, and TSMC's A14 mass production target now sits in the first half of 2028.

| A14 node | |
|---|---|
| mass production | 1H28 |
| initial revenue | 2H28 |
| Apple iPhone adoption | 2H28 |
| supply tightness | 2027-28 |
| capacity additions | through 2028 |
| FY27 revenue growth | approach 40% |
| gross margins through 2027 | mid-to-high 60% |
| price target | NT$3,300 |
J.P. Morgan links the window to initial A14 revenue in the second half of 2028. It also raises the probability that Apple iPhones adopt A14 silicon in that half.
The binding constraint is wafer allocation, not lithography. Leading-edge supply stays tight through 2027 and 2028, while capacity additions continue through 2028.
For TSMC, A14 becomes a revenue line while N2 dilution is still visible. For Apple, the 2028 window becomes more likely, not confirmed.
The note leaves A22 Pro configuration, price, yield, power, performance, and the exact mass-production start date unmeasured.
The shift is tied to wafer allocation, not a confirmed Apple product.
After @OptionKing666. We did not report this. The pictures, if any, are theirs.
