The Apple Newsroom page puts the start on apple.com and in the Apple Store app.
The filing calls it a foldable iPhone. It carries Apple's largest iPhone display ever. Opened, it is the thinnest iPhone ever, with an inner display 50 percent larger than the display on iP.
MacRumors added a January 25, 2027 shipping date for every U.S. configuration. The Apple Newsroom page does not state that figure.

That addition turns a launch notice into a supply warning. The vendor page gives no store estimate.
The order window is fixed. The delivery window is not.
A buyer who waits for the store date is constrained by Apple's own release schedule. The page offers no proof about yield, stock, or the crease.

The foldable mechanism is the story. A larger inner display sits inside a thinner opened body.
The page bundles the launch with new accessories. It does not name their prices or availability.

Price, storage tiers, launch-day availability, and any shipping estimate are absent. The accessory bundle's status is also unspecified.
Apple Store pickup after the pre-order window is not addressed. Reseller first-wave stock is not addressed.
The January 25 date is not measured here.
The pre-order start is the only fixed timing; the shipping date is a separate claim.
After @johnternus. We did not report this. The pictures, if any, are theirs. Also filed by MacRumors, AppleInsider, 9to5Mac, ComputerBase.
