AMD Zen 6 IPC leak stays unmeasured
The 13 percent IPC figure is an average from a forum leaker, not a measured delta.

| AMD Zen 6 Ryzen | |
|---|---|
| IPC gain over Zen 5 | 13% |
| CCD core count | twelve cores |
| previous CCD core count | eight cores |
| core count and L3 cache size increase | 50% |
| desktop launch | 2027 |
adroc_thurston on the Anandtech Forums said AMD Zen 6 Ryzen CPUs would gain about 13 percent IPC over Zen 5. The OC3D article notes that IPC values are averages and workload-specific.

Enthusiasts get a bigger expected jump because rumors also point to higher clocks and a twelve-core CCD. The document gives no clock, node, SKU, or benchmark to price that jump.
AMD's fab and silicon teams are not constrained by the leak. The question is whether the claimed per-cycle gain survives the workloads that matter to buyers.

Exact Zen 6 clocks, memory latency, bandwidth, SKU names, process node, and a launch date beyond 2027 remain unmeasured.
The leak raises expectations but does not prove a 13 percent gain in real workloads.
