Pre-order opened today. The in-store date is Friday, November 13. The price is $299, or $49.83 a month for six months. Apple's country line is the US and 29 other countries and regions.

That list is wider than HomeView's. It is not a promise that the new assistant is in every one of those countries.

The A19 is up to 50 percent faster on the CPU than the previous Apple TV 4K, and up to twice as fast on the GPU. It has a dedicated AV1 decoder. Apple says that decoder streams at high quality on less bandwidth.

The post does not print memory, a TOPS figure, watts, a storage size, or a Wi-Fi generation. This piece leaves those out.

Three far-field microphones sit in the box, so Siri answers while the show is playing. Apple credits echo cancellation for separating the voice from the audio. Secure Exclaves on the A19 wall off that microphone data. Apple says tvOS, apps, the person using the box, and Apple itself cannot read it.

Siri AI on this box is a beta, in English, in the US, Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the UK. Apple says the same beta is on Apple TV 4K from the second generation on, not only on this box.

A question can fill the screen with poster art, or sit in a small overlay while a show is on. Personal context, such as a show a friend named in a message, needs an Apple Intelligence iPhone. A request can run on the box or in Private Cloud Compute.

The remote keeps its shape and adds Find My, with Precision Finding, plus a sound the remote itself can play. Find My on the remote starts with the second generation. The remote also works with Apple TV HD and the earlier 4K models.

As a home hub the box has Wi-Fi and Thread. A doorbell alert can land on the TV. HomeKit Secure Video stays end-to-end encrypted, and Apple says that footage is never available to Apple. Four speakers, HomePod mini 2 or the second-generation HomePod in matching front and rear pairs, are the surround setup. The box places them in the room.

The box is an A19 at $299 on a wide country list. The assistant on it is the eight-country beta. HomeView stays off sale in the EU, Norway, and the other EEA countries, because Siri AI is not on the iPhone there.
