The ASUS Prime Radeon RX 9070 EVO 16 GB OC is $629. That number does not prove the card is at MSRP, that the 2610 MHz boost clock is sustained, or that the 16 GB GDDR6 pool is enough for every workload. It is a retail price for a factory-overclocked SKU, not a specification sheet.

The constraint is on the buyer, not the silicon. A $629 listing lowers the entry point for a 16 GB RDNA 4 card, while the 3584 SP count and 256-bit bus remain unchanged. For the fab, the price is a market signal, not a die, memory, or packaging change.

The document leaves out power draw, thermals, frame rates, and whether the $629 price is a permanent MSRP reset or a Prime deal. It also does not measure the GRE at $529 against the RX 9060 XT in a controlled test.

The constraint is on the buyer, not the silicon. The price changes the entry point, but the 3584 SP count and 256-bit bus do not.

Power draw, thermals, frame rates, and the permanence of the $629 price are not measured.

The $629 listing is a retail constraint, not a silicon change; the 3584 SP count, 16 GB GDDR6, and 256-bit bus remain the architectural limits.
