Aramco takes 49 percent of HUMAIN for $2.6 billion
PIF and Aramco closed a transaction in which Aramco acquires 49 percent of HUMAIN for about $2.6 billion in cash plus AI assets.

| HUMAIN | |
|---|---|
| PIF stake | 51% |
| Aramco stake | 49% |
| cash contribution in 2026 | approximately SAR 9.9 billion ($2.6 billion) |
| AI data center capacity by 2030 | 3 gigawatts |
| launch | May 2025 |
| Technology Realized Value since 2023 | $11.3 billion |
| strategy period | 2026-2030 |
| release date | 01 November 2026 |
Aramco acquires that stake in HUMAIN. The PIF release says the stake is bought with about $2.6 billion in cash plus AI, compute, and digital assets. That number does not prove HUMAIN can reach 3 gigawatts by 2030, because the release gives no live capacity, site count, or power purchase terms.
Die Brief reads the deal as a balance-sheet move, not a silicon milestone. The oil major gets a minority seat in a sovereign AI stack while PIF keeps control at 51 percent. The buyer is constrained by the gap between announced gigawatts and measured deployment.
The document leaves the current live MW, GPU count, data-center locations, and protection measures unmeasured. It also omits the exact Rebellions stake and the Semafor interview date, and it offers no reconciliation between HUMAIN's 3 GW plan and the AMD/Cisco/HUMAIN 1 GW joint-venture target.

The PIF release does not state current live MW, GPU count, data-center locations, or protection measures.
Aramco buys a minority stake in a sovereign AI stack while PIF retains control. The constraint is that announced 3 GW capacity is not yet tied to live MW, GPU count, or site power terms.
