Intel 285K power page replaces the 150 W rumor
The 250 W turbo ceiling is the planning number for the Core Ultra 9 285K, not the 150 W rumor.

| Core Ultra 9 285K | |
|---|---|
| Base TDP | 125 W |
| Max Turbo TDP | 250 W |
| Socket | LGA 1851 |
| Generation | 15th generation |
The TechReviewer page prints 125 W base TDP and 250 W max turbo TDP for the 285K.
The X post by @g01d3nm4ng0 says 150 W for Core Ultra 9/7. That phrase assumes a future desktop line already has a power limit.
The 285K sits on LGA 1851 and is labeled a 15th generation desktop part. The power numbers are tied to that SKU.
Cooling and PSU planning should follow the 250 W max turbo figure. The 125 W base figure is the printed base number.
The page does not prove that a new Core Ultra 9 or 7 will ship at 150 W. Nor does it say a Core Ultra 5 will sit at 125 W.
No page measured actual power draw under load or printed a cooler requirement for the 285K.
A buyer sizing a cooler or PSU should use the printed 250 W turbo ceiling, not the leaker's number.
Use the printed 250 W turbo ceiling for cooling and PSU planning.
After @g01d3nm4ng0. We did not report this. The pictures, if any, are theirs.
