Intel will phase out SGX after Xeon Diamond Rapids, with TDX taking the confidential-computing role. The headline also names trusted I/O and post-quantum crypto for agentic AI workloads.

That is a roadmap statement, not a silicon measurement. It constrains buyers who built SGX-dependent enclaves, because the exit point is tied to a future Xeon generation rather than a dated SKU. This move also shifts the trust boundary from an SGX enclave to a TDX model, but the document gives no proof that the new path preserves the same isolation, performance, or attestation behavior.

No date, SKU, node, clock, power, price, or ship date appears. TDX implementation details, trusted I/O scope, and post-quantum crypto parameters are still absent. A buyer cannot yet schedule migration from this page alone, and a fab cannot infer the added crypto path from that text alone.

TDX replaces SGX as the confidential path, but the document lacks implementation details, so migration risk and attestation behavior remain unverified.
