HP lists RTX Spark OmniBook laptops at $2,999 to $4,999

The Die Brief Desk, after videocardz.com

HP lists the 14-inch OmniBook X at $2,999.99 and the 16-inch OmniBook Ultra at $3,199.99, with 32GB LPDDR5X-9400 memory in both base models.

HP lists the 14-inch OmniBook X at $2,999.99 and the 16-inch OmniBook Ultra at $3,199.99. Both base systems use the 18-core NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X with a 5,120-core Blackwell RTX GPU, 32GB of LPDDR5X-9400 memory, and a 1TB PCIe Gen5 SSD. The 3K OLED touch display is included in both listings.

The Morgan Stanley figure of $2,899 is the limit, and it is a floor, not a ceiling. HP's entry price sits about $100 above it, so the measurement sits above the floor, not inside a cap. The buyer is constrained by memory, because the listing shows 64GB and 2TB systems moving into the $4,500 to $5,000 range, while the 14-inch higher listing also names a larger 6,144-core GPU. That step cannot be read as a pure memory surcharge.

No power draw, thermals, sustained GPU clocks, latency, frame time, or battery figures are measured. The sheet also does not prove that the 32GB base configuration is enough for the workloads NVIDIA expects, or that the 128GB Ultra 16 option will remain at the listed top price. What is missing is the performance-per-dollar test, not the price sheet.

The list proves a retail floor, not a performance ceiling. The buyer pays for memory before the document proves the GPU can sustain it.

Power draw, thermals, sustained GPU clocks, latency, frame time, and battery figures are not measured.

The price sheet fixes the entry point but leaves power draw, thermals, sustained clocks, latency, frame time, and battery figures unmeasured. The 32GB-to-64GB step is the visible cost constraint, while the 6,144-core GPU option prevents a clean memory-only comparison.
